Terms of Service

Wealth Camera Ltd ("Wealth Camera", "we", "us") provides a personal financial aggregation and analysis platform at wealthcamera.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Wealth Camera is a financial information and analysis tool, not a regulated financial adviser.

• What we provide: aggregation of your financial data, calculations (net worth, fee drag, tax allowances, NI record), and analytical observations to help you understand your own position.
• What we do not provide: personalised investment advice, tax advice, or any regulated financial service as defined by the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (FSMA) or the FCA Handbook. Nothing on the platform constitutes a personal recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any investment or to take any specific tax action.
• You should obtain independent professional advice before making investment, pension, or tax decisions of material significance.

Wealth Camera is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to provide investment advice. Tax calculations are estimates based on published HMRC rates and allowances; they are not a substitute for advice from a qualified tax professional.

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must be resident in the United Kingdom.
• You must have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
• Business or corporate accounts are not currently supported.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at legal@wealthcamera.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

You must not share your account with others, create accounts on behalf of others, or use automated means to access the Service.

Where you connect a bank account via Open Banking, you authorise us to retrieve read-only transaction and balance data on your behalf via TrueLayer, an FCA-regulated Account Information Service Provider. We do not initiate payments. You may disconnect any connection at any time from Settings.

Where you authorise access to your HMRC National Insurance record via Government Gateway OAuth, you consent to us retrieving and displaying your NI contribution history and projected state pension entitlement. We request only the read:national-insurance-record scope. You may revoke this access at any time via your HMRC online account or from Settings.

HMRC data displayed in Wealth Camera is for information only. It may not reflect the most current HMRC records. We accept no liability for decisions made on the basis of this data.

You retain ownership of all financial data you enter or import. By using the Service you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display that data solely to provide the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your data and will not use it for any purpose other than operating and improving the Service.

You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter manually. We are not liable for errors in imported data attributable to your bank, investment platform, or HMRC.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its infrastructure
• Introduce malicious code, scrape data, or reverse-engineer the Service
• Misrepresent your identity or provide false information
• Use the Service to commit fraud or money laundering

Access to Wealth Camera requires a paid subscription. Pricing is displayed at the point of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time from Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period with no partial refunds.

We reserve the right to change pricing on 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified by email.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control (including third-party API outages at TrueLayer or HMRC).

Tax calculations use HMRC published rates and are updated when rates change. They are estimates only and may not account for your individual circumstances. Asset prices retrieved via market data providers are indicative and may be delayed.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wealth Camera's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We exclude liability for: loss of profits, loss of data, investment losses, tax penalties arising from reliance on our calculations, or any indirect or consequential loss, even if foreseeable.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

All software, design, and content comprising the Wealth Camera platform is owned by or licensed to Wealth Camera Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days; after that it will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
